DIY Tuesdays - String Theory

I thought the "String Theory" D.I.Y. Tuesday event that took place on 1/13/09 was really interesting. Paul and Angus, the event's creators were fun to speak with and the cage space looked great by the time it became filled with all the cris-crossing lines of twine.
The students certainly seemed to enjoy themselves during their time outside the classroom and it was nice to see them interact and cooperate together to complete their designs. Awesome way to start of the D.I.Y. events. Everyone should definitely plan to come out to the rest of the Tuesday festivities.

  1. Nice turnout for the opening reception to kick off the upcoming DIY Tuesday events for New Wave Atlanta. Cathy Byrd has done a great job organizing the events, which should be a good time for all who come out and participate.

  2. This was a great way to start of the exhibition. It was fun creating the chaotic web and it was a great way to meet new people. I can't wait for the other DIYs!

  3. Most fun I've ever had with string. It's amazing how patterns emerge when you have the cooperation to take a relatively mundane concept to the extreme.
